| The recipe: Suki was made in Hong Kong. She soon found herself in New York City where her love of fashion, art and children's wear combined forces to give birth to egg + avocado A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Suki has designed for such diverse companies as Phat Farm, Gap Inc and most recently Tory Burch. Her work has sold in boutiques in Japan, Europe and North America including Barneys New York and Fred Segal. egg + avocado merges Suki's unique style and sense of humor and can be worn by even the most hardnosed city tyke or well-heeled infantista. Suki recognizes that parents want to see a hint of themselves in their kids, minus the tattoos and mullets. The name: egg: Since childhood, Suki has had an insatiable appetite for hard-boiled eggs. avocado: Suki's favorite sandwich is prosciutto & avocado. Forced to make a decision between egg or prosciutto for her brand name, she chose the former to keep the label shorter. The muses: Miss egg, has a stroller that carries 2.5 multicultural dolls. She is appalled by pastel pink and has been looking forward to the launch of egg + avocado since birth. She plans to be the first in her playgroup to sport the brand. Mr. avocado has a dog, a hamster and possibly a snake depending on which animal survives the week. He's cool with girls but prefers them from a distance. He thinks egg + avocado is mad hot. |
